Then, get out your Instant Pot and place the trivet (your Instant Pot came with one) into the bottom of the Instant Pot and our in the water too.

Next, in an oven-safe dish that can fit in the Instant Pot, like the 7 inch cake pan, pour in all of the peaches.

Now, take the yellow cake mix and sprinkle it over top of the peaches, covering all of the peaches. (This should be the dry mix, do not follow the instructions on the box.)

Grabbing the butter next, slice it into small pieces and lay it over top of the dry cake mix. The butter should cover all of the cake mix.

Easy Instant Pot Peach Cobbler Recipe (6)

Simply cover the pan with aluminum foil tightly.

PRO TIP: By covering the pan with foil this will keep your batter from bubbling over and keep excess moisture out!

Now lower the pan into the Instant Pot and put the lid on locking it in place and turning the valve to the “SEALING” position.

Press the “MANUAL” or “PRESSURE COOK” button and set the timer for 15 minutes on high pressure.

After the timer runs out, let the Instant Pot do a natural release for 10 minutes and then turn the valve to “VENTING” to release the remaining pressure from the Instant Pot.

Once the pin drops, carefully remove the lid and the pan from inside the Instant Pot. Practice caution using hot pads or a towel to remove the pan as the side of the inner pot will be hot as well as the pan itself.

Now simply remove the foil from the pan and serve the peach cobbler warm with some tasty vanilla ice cream or freshly whipped cream!

You can use this homemade whipped cream recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction!

  • Sprinkle yellow cake mix over peaches, covering all the peaches (make sure you are using the dry cake mix – don't follow the instructions on the box to make cake batter).

  • Once the cobbler is done cooking, let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes, then move the valve to VENTING to release the remaining pressure.

  • Remove the lid and carefully remove the pan from the Instant Pot (you will want to use hot pads because that pan will be hot!).

  • Serve with a scoop of ice cream or freshly whipped cream.

Made this over the weekend and my daughter loved it! I’m making it again today because it didn’t last long. Thank you for the great recipe!

  7. Tam says:

We ended up with goopy cake batter with peaches floating in it. Still tastes okay, just not at all what I was expecting!

  8. Cyd says:

Just cook it longer when a recipe does not look like it is all the way cooked.

  9. Cyd says:

    Yes, that will work too!

  10. Sue says:

I made it and was disappointed. Cooked it for 15 minutes. Then for 4 more and it is still raw

  11. Melanie says:

    Way too sweet for me!

  12. queenie says:

Very disappointed. While it taste ok it was like eating raw cake batter. Even cooked it an additional 5 minutes

  13. MMyers says:

Delish! I covered with foil before pressure cooking. Then put it in my Omni plus air fryer on broil until the topping was crusty.

  14. Marla Galli says:

I make this and I love it, but yes not all the cake gets moist, etc. I am trying it this weekend and then using the air fryer lid on broil for 3-4 minutes to crisp the top.

  15. G Ruble says:

Complete goo. I’m trying to cook it again and see if it’s any better.

  16. Momma Cyd says:

This is a recipe that you spoon out. It's not anything that you will be slicing. Add ice cream on top and it's amazing. Ours looked like the photo. Hope this helps.

  17. Karen Cameron says:

I have done dump cakes in microwave, oven, crock pot, and am super anxious to try this one! Do you have a recipe for blueberries?

  18. Jenn says:

I made this and the cake mix ended up gooey and powdery, so I threw it in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes and it turned out delicious!
